Joseph Bailey is buried in Pieta military cemetery, Malta, in grave number C. VIII. 3.  These photographs were taken by Joseph’s Great-nephew, Mike Bailey, in summer 2005.

The top photograph shows the area where Joseph’s grave is located.  
Mike is standing by Joseph’s grave in photograph number 2.

Photographs 3 and 4 show the grave in more detail.  Buried with Joseph in
grave C. VIII. 3 are Gunner G Chapman, 52390, 13th Northumbrian Heavy Bty.,
Royal Garrison Artillery, died 07/04/1916, and Sapper CH Holdsworth, 74197,
4th H.A. Signal Coy. Royal Engineers, died  08/04/1916.

Mike describes the cemetery as ‘peaceful, beautiful, very well-kept’.
